When it’s our cuzzies getting married!
We love filming weddings, especially Fijian Weddings! This one was all the more special because the bride was Gray’s cousin – which means this was a wedding we were actually invited to! So exciting! Herman and Gabrielle are both from NZ but now live in Melbourne, so they chose “somewhere in the middle” to tie the knot, so that friends and family from both sides of the ditch could celebrate Island Style with them!
Destination weddings and Moving Films
Generally, the destination weddings at Plantation Island are elopements, or intimate occasions just by virtue of the location, but Herm’s and Gabe’s wedding was the biggest wedding they’d ever hosted, with over 120 guests. The resort was like a little village of our families – from the restaurants to the pool, everywhere you went had someone from the wedding guest list. It was a week long celebration, and even though we were working hard to capture this gorgeous day in the middle of it, we would do again in a heartbeat!
