Sacred Heart College Chapel Ceremony
Aaron and Lisa began their wedding day with a heartfelt ceremony at Sacred Heart College Chapel—a place of tradition and calm that set the perfect tone for their union. Surrounded by whānau and friends, the chapel echoed with warmth, love, and a quiet sense of reverence as they exchanged vows and began their journey together.
Following the ceremony, the bridal party made their way to Bastion Point for photos. With sweeping views over the harbour and sky, it was the perfect setting to capture the joy of the day. Standing between land and sea, the photos reflected not only their love for each other, but also their strong cultural heritage. Aaron’s proud Samoan roots and Lisa’s deep Māori whakapapa added layers of meaning to the day, celebrated not just in words, but through the presence and support of their aiga and whānau, as well as the cultural formalities throughout the celebration.
Tamaki Yacht Club Wedding
As the evening unfolded, the festivities continued at Tamaki Yacht Club, where the couple welcomed guests into a relaxed coastal setting with stunning views of Rangitoto and the Waitematā. Surrounded by laughter, great food, heartfelt speeches, and incredible performances of the siva and haka, the reception was a true celebration of their love, culture, and the exciting journey ahead.
