Ruakaka Beach Wedding
Lauren and Sam tied the knot on the golden sands of Ruakaka Beach, with the ocean as their backdrop and the sun shining down on a day that felt equal parts dreamy and down-to-earth. Their ceremony was intimate and heartfelt, set right on the beach where barefoot guests gathered to witness two soulmates promise forever.
The celebration continued just a short stroll away at Ruakaka Holiday Park, where the reception had all the relaxed energy of a coastal festival. With fairy lights strung through trees, music floating through the air, and friends and family camped out in tents, cabins, or nearby Airbnbs, the vibe was joyful, warm, and totally them.
Every detail reflected Lauren and Sam’s values—eco-friendly choices at every turn, from upcycled decor and sustainable florals to a zero-waste approach where everything was recycled, reused, or repurposed. It was a wedding with heart, soul, and purpose—a true celebration of love, community, and the environment they hold dear.

Lovely photos you have taken here!
I am looking for a photographer for our wedding next Feb on Ruakaka beach a very casual stand up ceremony with only close family and friends and kids around 40 people then a reception at Porthouse we are confirming that in April. About 80 people will be at the reception for nibbles and drinks.
How much do you charge and for how many hours. ?
Wedding will be early around 2pm we are thinking.
Thanks for your time
