Bracu Estate Wedding

In the heart of the lush Bombay Hills of Auckland, New Zealand, a culmination of milestone moments of a ten year plan unfolded. Matthew and Jade’s wedding was a long awaited and welcome celebration for both families and friends. Their day was beautifully planned and curated by the Bride, for a simple yet elegant celebration with the hues of nature and warm earthly tones of the serene olive groves of Bracu Estate.

Venue Accommodation

We’ve filmed a few weddings at Bracu now, and their boutique accommodation of Estate House and Olive House is always the perfect backdrop for Bride, Groom and their respective parties to get ready. They chose Bracu Estate not only for its breathtaking beauty but also for its onsite accommodation. Big enough for the family to relax while the bridal party gets ready, and no extra travel. That means more time with guests and loved ones!

A Ceremony of Love and Laughter

As the gentle breeze rustled through the olive branches, I’m thankful for the all-weather protection of The Marquee.  Rain or shine, it offers a gorgeous blank canvas for ceremonies. Matthew and Jade exchanged vows which were officiated by first-time celebrant, the Father of the Bride.  Performing ringbearer duties was their cute fur baby, Milo.  He dutifully ran down the aisle on his little legs to deliver wedding bands and kisses to the Bride and Groom.

Capturing Moments of Joy

Following the ceremony, family and group photos beside the Fountain Pond was expertly coordinated by Matthew’s Aunty Jan.  Afterwards, the newlyweds ventured into the heart of Bracu Estate for photos amidst the olive trees, the iconic iron gate entrance and upon Sunset Hill for those dreamy sunset shots.

An Evening of Celebration

The Pavilion, played host to an evening of laughter, joy, speeches and selfies. The buffet dinner was yum, of course. And their cake by Amy’s Secret Kitchen, was one of the best I’ve tasted.  And I’ve tasted a few! After their choreographed first dance to a mash up of Elvis’ Can’t Help Falling In Love with Travis Scott’s Goosebumps, Matthew and Jade danced the night away before they embarked on a new journey.  Their Happily Ever After (and a midnight trip to Macca’s).
