We love that this beautiful duo chose a “Movie” themed wedding – they chose all sorts of cool styling details, like a red carpet entrance to their reception including a Step and Repeat banner for those ‘paparazzi’/selfie shots, movie title table names, ticket stubbs with the invite and rsvp, even a bespoke “Thank You” film on DVD as the wedding favour, which we shot with the couple 6 months before their wedding.
Best of all, it meant that Shae could shoot the wedding with his new anamorphic widescreen lens – which gives that stunning clarity and J.J. Abram’s signature lens flares throughout their film footage.
The overall style of a Moving Films wedding film is “cinematic storytelling”, but we tailor each and every film to the style and brief from our couple, which influences our shooting style, Gray’s editing style, pace and tone, the soundtrack selections, colour grading and transition choices … making each film as bespoke and as special as the couples we film! #bestjobever
