Being a Dawsons preferred supplier, we’ve filmed lots of different celebrations at Kelliher Estate, and its always amazing to see the venue personalised to each event.  When we arrived to shoot Alpa and Jason’s wedding, the Phoenix Room was transformed into a glorious and airy space for their Hindu ceremony.  Alpa spent a relaxing morning getting ready with her bridesmaids, MC’s and dressers, and Jason and his entourage arrived before the ceremony, and they had a beautiful first look in the rose garden.

It was a delight to capture all the intricate details of the wedding, from the beadwork of the fabrics, the sparkle and sumptuousness of the jewellery, and the rich symbolism of each Hindu ritual during the ceremony.

To accommodate their 400 guests, their reception was held at Manukau Events Centre, which included Bollywood style entertainment from friends and family!
