FAQs
Where can we go?
We are based out South in Wattle Downs, but we will travel North to Kumeu and South to Pokeno. If you want to go to Waiheke or beyond, there will be an extra charge for travel depending on where you want to go. Wherever you choose, it should be special or meaningful to you — where did you first meet or have your proposal? Or your location could be the mood you want to set for your wedding day — beach or vineyard vibes. Time of day and what the light is doing at your location matters too! We can go over all the options beforehand to find the perfect spot for you!
What do we wear?
You can wear whatever you like, but wearing outfits that complement each other and your environment make all the difference to your final footage and photos! Think about the mood or theme you want to create and go from there. If you’d like to bring a few options, you’re most welcome. Limit your options so that you’re using your session time for shooting and not getting changed.
How long will the photos and video take?
Usually you’ll receive your finished images, video and raw footage within 2 weeks via gallery link and Dropbox download. During peak season, it may take a little longer, but we’ll let you know.
How many photos do we get?
I like to manage expectations so there’s no surprises, so all the image quantities I quote are the minimum. There’s usually more 🙂 Engagement sessions are minimum 30 images, and I lightly re-touch (which can include teeth & blemishes if you’re that way inclined) and colour grade delivered images.
What if it rains or we have to reschedule?
All good! If it rains, we can decide beforehand if we should reschedule or just go with it!! Rain in slow-mo can be awesome!! If we do need to reschedule, we’ll find a new day and time that suits us both. If you need to cancel within less than 48 hours of your booking however, the total becomes non-refundable.
