Ben and Yvonne’s Samoan-Tongan Celebration at Ellerslie

Ben Falealili and Yvonne Taufa tied the knot in a heartfelt ceremony at the iconic St Matthew’s in the City, followed by an elegant and joy-filled reception at Ellerslie Event Centre. A beautiful fusion of Samoan and Tongan heritage, their day overflowed with love, laughter, and cultural pride.

The couple first caught the world’s attention when Ben’s proposal to Yvonne—secretly filmed in Long Beach, California, USA (not by us though) —went viral online. For the longest time, many assumed their wedding videographers were based in the US. In fact, their wedding video package (the Legacy Package with extra videographers) was a thoughtful gift from Yvonne’s sister, filmed right here in Aotearoa by us.  Yay!  It wasn’t long before other couples began reaching out, thrilled to discover they could have the same storytelling magic for their own big day!
