Alaina & Stephen | The Hunting Lodge Wedding, Waimauku

West Auckland’s wine country made the perfect setting for Alaina and Stephen’s wedding at The Hunting Lodge in Waimauku — and having their three-year-old daughter there made it even better.

The Hunting Lodge is one of those venues that does a lot of the work for you. Surrounded by vineyards just 30 minutes from Auckland CBD, the light is beautiful, the grounds are lush, and there’s a relaxed charm to the place that comes through in both film and photos.

We had such a great time capturing this family’s day — the ceremony, the group photos, the in-between moments, it was a beautiful and intimate celebration. The drinks caravan kept the guests hydrated and the bright and exciting grazing table goodies was enjoyed by the whole family.
